Today’s nationwide Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage caused widespread disruptions impacting major platforms, including Canvas, Clever, and other tools used by school districts, banks, airlines, and social media platforms across the country. Despite the interruption, Lauderdale County School District (LCSD) continued instruction without pause. Click on the attached link to learn more about our response to the outage.

LCSD Fall Break: October 13–15
Teachers will return for a Professional Development Day on Wednesday, October 15, and students will return to campuses on Thursday, October 16.

The LCSD Foundation is hard at work helping our schools, and we couldn’t be more grateful! Through its generosity, the Foundation has provided thousands of dollars to help meet the needs of our teachers and students.
